When I was eight years old, I saw Back to the Future and knew immediately I wanted to be a mad scientist. But it turns out that being a mad scientist is very hard, even harder than being a regular scientist, and so I was forced to become a liberal arts major instead. Right now, I'm a graduate student at Arizona State University, studying how science is used to make political decisions, and how technology is shaping our world. With wisdom and intelligence, I believe science and technology can be used to prevail against the blind forces of the future.
I write an op-ed once a week, and handle a lot of the day to day issues about the Prevail Project website.
